The Montana Association of REALTORS® (MAR) is the voice for real estate in Montana. We are a state-wide trade association representing more than 4,800 members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate markets throughout Montana. Education Coordinator

The preferred candidate is an energetic individual with broad experience in education and event planning. To be successful in this role, the individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. They are an analytical thinker, who can work easily and thrive under tight deadlines, are willing to seek and accept constructive criticism of their work in order to grow, and able to easily develop positive working relationships with fellow staff, association members, instructors and vendors.

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing continuing education courses for REALTORS®, as well as assisting in the creation of a Montana Broker Academy. This position also serves as the staff liaison for the Professional Development, and Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) subcommittee. In addition to other duties, this position oversees the REALTOR® Professional Standards program including serving as the Certified Professional Standards Administrator for ethics complaints against members filed with the organization. They will also explore innovative concepts, best practices, and topics to increase member professionalism.

PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree plus three or more years of relevant professional experience. Experience in, and knowledge of, real estate related education and event planning. Experience will be considered in lieu of college degree. Must be competent with all contemporary office software. Some travel, both in and out of state, is required.

Strategic Programs Coordinator

The preferred candidate is an energetic individual with broad experience in scheduling and event planning. To be successful in this role, the individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. They are an analytical thinker, who can work easily and thrive under tight deadlines, are willing to seek and accept constructive criticism of their work in order to grow, and able to easily develop positive working relationships with fellow staff, association members, instructors and vendors. 

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing various association events including business meetings, annual convention, volunteer leadership training sessions, and fundraising events. This position is responsible for coordination of annual member awards programs and coordinates travel to national REALTOR® meetings. This position also serves as the staff liaison for the Young Professional Network Committee, Executive Committee, and some subcommittees. 

PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree plus three or more years of relevant professional experience. A High School diploma and experience will be considered in lieu of college degree. Experience in, and knowledge of, event planning. Project management experience is a plus. Must be competent with all contemporary office software. Some travel, both in and out of state, is required.

Administrative Assistant

The preferred candidate is an energetic individual with broad experience in office administration.  To be successful in this role, the individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  They are an analytical thinker, who can work easily and thrive under tight deadlines, are willing to seek and accept constructive criticism of their work in order to grow, and able to easily develop positive working relationships with fellow staff, association members, instructors and vendors.

This position is responsible for maintaining membership records in an online electronic database, coordinating certain travel activities for the CEO and association leadership, planning and preparing member participation in certain national association meetings, ordering supplies, collecting tenant rent, opening and distributing mail and a variety of general office administrative duties.

PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, or equivalent, plus three or more years of relevant office related experience.  Must be competent with all contemporary office software.  Some travel, both in and out of state, is required.
