DAY 2, Thursday, October 15, 2026

8:00 am - 11:00 am / Addie Owens: High Conflict Real Estate - Buck Wild Deals that Need a Strong Lasso

Course Description:

High-conflict deals don't need more talking. They need steady hands and solid structure.

High-conflict real estate transactions require a different skill set than standard sales. Divorce, probate,

and emotionally charged sellers introduce instability, authority confusion, and increased risk for both consumers and agents. When emotions run high and the courts are involved, structure matters more, documentation matters more, and professional judgment becomes non-negotiable.

This 3-hour course focuses on recognizing high-conflict conditions early, using structured intake to identify risk, and maintaining professional neutrality when emotions escalate. Participants will explore how divorce and probate transactions differ from standard sales, where authority breaks down, and how

agents are unintentionally pulled into conflict through triangulation and over-engagement.

The course also addresses internal seller conflict, where emotional attachment undermines logical decision-making, and provides guidance on containment, pacing, and professional judgment. Emphasis is placed on boundary enforcement, documentation, and knowing when to slow, escalate, or exit a transaction to protect the consumer and the license.

 Addie's Bio

Addie Owens is the CEO of Touchstone Real Estate Group, Inc., a family of companies that support the real estate industry and the communities they serve. Her mission is simple but powerful: love her family, serve her community, and help fortify those who bravely enter the arena.
